universally accepted; others are deprogrammers, who are
really twenty-first century gunslingers; and still others are
even wayward initiates from one of the light and sound
paths present in the world today.
My advice is to let detractors be detractors, for their
experience is just as important to them as our experience is
to us. every individual is right in one’s own eyes, and each
will ultimately be judged for one’s own actions, just like
you and I will be. If you deny them their right to be as they
wish, you risk forfeiting your own spirituality, and you
should not compromise yourself in this fashion. I would
suggest penetrating and transcending your own overly sen-
sitive nature by growing a thicker skin. practice detach-
ment and learn to laugh off all opposition, for in truth, not
everyone can be in agreement with your point of view.
The light and sound Teachings represent a contro-
versial message, for it goes against the traditional beliefs of
the world, it bucks the status quo of the bulk of humanity,
and it can even openly challenge or confront the formative
conditioning most people were imprinted with in their
youth. Furthermore, since you cannot control what other
people think or say, you should not be overly concerned
about it. Focus only on those things you can control, al-
ways remembering that censorship and ridicule serve as
the guards to the market of love. It is unbecoming of any
light and sound Master, as well as his students, to take
issue with or to speak ill of anyone, even though in truth,
all saints and Masters in past and present times have had
their living Judas. and similarly, the world has never been
kind to the saints and their disciples. It is far better to un-
derstand and deftly rise above the mechanical nature of the
human mind operating within the duality of the earthly
world, than it is to mentally agonize or become emotion-
            ally upset by it.
