soul’s Divine Journey
in this sense, true spirituality has been hijacked, for
the mind now worships Brahm as the ultimate lord, and
similarly, it views the universal mind power as the true
spirit. the mind can become so overly enamored with the
worship of Brahm that it completely forgets about the quest
for the self, the soul, and the true spiritual consciousness.
consequently, all character development is stymied and
only lateral growth is possible, for the mind assumes it has
been saved or liberated, and consciously halts its search
for the higher truth. all of this is to the glory of the mind
and Brahm, but to the utter defeat of soul and its quest to
uncover its own divinity. all truth seekers must eventually
come to realize that God is housed within them, not em-
bodied in some externally deified form or enshrined in an
outside temple.
the individual’s realization of one’s own divinity is
the primary intent of the teachings of Masterpath, for as a
truth seeker, you are not looking for another’s spirituality,
but only your own. thus, there is a little story of old i would
like to share in the hopes that it will more clearly convey
this great truth.
