- A partitive shows a part or quantity of something. It is used with an uncountable noun.
1. a bale 大捆 of cotton/wool/straw
2. a bar of chocolate/soap
3. a breath of fresh air
4. a bundle of paper/rag 破布/firewood
5. a carton of milk 一盒牛奶
6. a dash 少量 of lemon juice/vinegar
7. a drop/spoonful/pail of water
8. a grain 粒 of sand
9. a length/coil of rope/string/wire

11. a loaf /slice of bread
