TOAST
I have always liked to think of our fraternity as a beautiful, large
red rose, with petals close entwined. The golden heart of the flower
I have made symbolic of our motto, around which we all gather,
and to which we are bound in loving protection.
TO T H E A L P H A OMICRON PI ROSE
Come toast with me the red. red rose
That emblem of love so true;
It binds our hearts with a firmer bond,
And holds us fast to you.
And every time I look at the rose
I wish, my sisters, for you
That the rose may bring a message sweet,
Of friendship tried and true.
As the years go on and we go our way,
Let us keep our rose in view;
And live as close as the petals are.
To our motto ever true.
VERA RIEBEL.
