Neiv York Alumna: Give a Mnsicale Tea

New York Alumna; chapter is all ex-
cited—thrills and thrills! At the last
meeting, March 31, we elected Priscilla
Sawyer (Gamma), president; Marian
Vineburg (Nu), vice president; Sylvia
Snowden (Gamma), secretary; Eliza-
beth Riley ( N u ) , treasurer; and Lor-
raine Jones McNally (Nu), historian.
The new officers are to be formally in-
stalled at the next meeting. New York
then proceeded to the discussion of
changes in our organization.
Distances are so great in the metro-
politan area, which includes New Jer-
sey, Westchester, and Long Island as
well as the five boroughs of the city
proper, that we are thinking of holding
separate meetings within convenient

In February we had the pleasure of
meeting at the Sigma chapter house.
The occasion was Sigma's birthday, and
the initiation of twelve girls into Alpha
O. Our business meeting was held after
the banquet, when it was decided that
our birthday gift to Sigma would be in
the nature of a check, as the active girls annual spring luncheon.

At the March meeting officers were
elected for the coming year. They are
as follows: Dorothy Mills, president;
Mildred Bell, vice president; Rosalinda
Riccomi, treasurer; Alfreda Sbarboro,

central organization with the above as
officers. We received very great help
from the Chicago Alumna whose situa-
tion is analogous, and who have been
trying a similar plan with success.
Social activities have not been for-
gotten. The active chapter ( N u ) , enter-
tained the alumna; at a social on Decem-
ber 30. The girls who, by working out
of town, find it impossible to come to
the regular meetings were home for the
holidays. It was delightful to renew
the ties which bind us all together.
