Ukraine
From the 27th of April to the 11th of May, the Ermitagaña School organized
a collection of materials.
The objective was to help Ukraine.
Two of the students from the school went to different classes encouraging
to bring material,and they made a video about the situation in Ukraine with
the war.
Lots of students donated things for example,diapers,flashlights,canned
food etc….
Ermitagaña school thanked the students for their collaboration.
The artwork of 5 grade Ermitagaña Students
The kamishibai of Ermitagaña is an amazing success.
Some students from 5th grade created an incredible kamishibai about
scientific women. They were Iñaki, Beyonce, Kateryna, Elias, Martin and
Alain.
First of all, in March children visited a women's theater play, represented
by a Public University, which inspired them to create this amazing artwork.
Later, during one week they looked for information about: Hedy Lamarr,
Ada Lovelace and Marie Curie, and they designed an artwork. They wrote
the text, they drew the pictures…
A kamishibai consists of a Japanese technique to make stories with
pictures and text. After creating the kamishibai, students presented it to a
scientific women's contest organized by Public University of Navarra.
