This is the second collection of songs specifically aimed at group sessions on our

Guitar Retreats. This time we have been more adventurous and added more than
4 chords! There may even be some chords you have never seen before! We
wanted this book to appeal to a broad range of ages and tastes and incorporate
many different aspects of guitar based popular music. I think we have
accomplished that and there is something for everyone contained within. You will
find classics both old and new and a few unusual ones too. Many of them have

been road tested and voted on during our events in 2018/2019, some have yet to
pass that test! So I can’t wait to start playing and singing them together on
future retreats. This year is of special significance because it marks the 10th
anniversary of the first official Guitar Retreat, here’s to the next ten!

As before a huge thanks must go to David Lines for helping me to put it all
together. It’s not a small undertaking and involved many hours of editing and
correcting late into the night and sometimes very early in the morning!
