                                             Tips for Walkers
                                             Several well-marked trails follow
the valleys and can be easily tackled
by anyone who is reasonably fit,
though walking boots are a must.
                                             The mountain routes may require
climbing gear so check first with the
visitors’ centre (in Torla) and get a
                                             detailed map. Mountain weather
changes fast, with snow early or
late in the season. High altitude
Cañon or Garganta de Añisclo overnight camping is allowed,
A wide path leads along this beautiful, steep-sided gorge, but only for one night.
following the wooded course of the turbulent Río Vellos
       through dramatic limestone scenery.
