        ENGLISH TOY TERRIER

         Height range            The oldest British toy breed, the English Toy Terrier used to be called the
         10–12 in (25–30 cm)     Miniature Black and Tan Terrier. It differs from its larger cousin, the Manchester
         Weight range            Terrier (opposite), only in its size and its erect ears. English Toy Terriers were popular
         7–9 lb (3–4 kg)
                                 as town pets during Queen Victoria’s reign, when toy dogs became fashionable. Before
