Hello!







                                   This issue makes me so happy. Not only is it
                                  illed with joyous paterns – more on those
                                 later – but it has plenty of warm and fuzzy
                               moments as well. From the ladies on page 48
                            who’ve extended Random Acts of Kindness Day         YOUR
           to be a year-round crochet mission, to the knited communities
           (p23) that evoke pride, passion and so much more. I’ll just be
           swooning in the corner.                                                                    YARN KIT
             And I’m swooning over this edition’s patern ofering too. Highlights
           include a knited pirate (p13), a curly-haired crochet doll on page 39,
           and an amigurumi teddy bear (p26) that has cute writen all over
           him… well, not literally. But it doesn’t get cuter than Dotie, a darling
           three-month old who is showing of her modelling skills over on page
           31 – oh, and there’s a granny square blanket and knited booties too.
             Such sensational paterns wouldn’t be possible without our
           Teddy yarn kit, comprised of eight colour-coordinating yarns,
           3.5mm hook and 3.5mm bamboo needles. We’ve doubled up on
           the Classic Taupe shade so you can make traditional keepsakes from     TEDDY BEAR’S PICNIC P45
           teddy bears to a litle labrador puppy. You’re going to love them.
             As always with Let’s Get Crating, the fun doesn’t stop there. Heidi
           rounds up her top variegated yarns (p36), we’ve crochet-alongs and
           blanket-alongs coming out of our ears, and we share yarn-y news
           on page 6. Plus, Amy chats about the life-saving nature of kniting
           with James McIntosh.
