totallyfallenforcrochet!Iloveformingquirky and#grannyoutofagrannysquare.Mydesign
characters,jewelleryandhomedecorations floodsmymindwithhappymemoriesofbeingat
Swithalltypesofyarn–it’ssoversatileandI mygrandparents’house,playing,andpicking fruit
alwaysuseeverylastscrapofitsothereisnowaste. andvegetablesintheirgardenasachild.
BackinAugustIdecidedtotakepartin Simply Ihaveabrandnewprojectinthemakingtoo!This
Crochet’sGrannySquareDay2019,asIhadsoloved isbasedonmy#grannyinagrannysquareandwill
beinginvolvedthepreviousyear.Ireallywantedto featureanewgrampysquare,alongwithother
designasquarethatwasalittlebitdifferentthis squaresbasedonmymemoriesofbeingatmy
time.Theeveningbefore,anideapoppedintomy grandparents’house.I’msoveryexcited to share
head;whatifIcreatedagrannysquarewithan thiswithyoualllaterintheyear!
actualgrannyinit!Itseemed such a fun and Ijustlovehowyoucancreatesomuchcharacter
obviousthingtodo! fromjustaballofyarn.Itdoesn’thavetobetricky
Sothatishowmy#grannyinagrannysquare –bothmygrannydesignsaremadeusingsimple
cameabout!Iinstantlyreceivedsomuchlovefor stitches–doublecrochet,treblecrochetand
her,Iwascompletelyblownaway!People bobblestitch.It’sonlyinrecentyearsthatI’ve
immediatelybeganmessagingmeaskingtomake discoveredmypassionforcrochet,it’smylittlebit
her–IwasactuallytakencompletelyoffguardasI ofdailytherapy.Iamalwayslearningwithcrochet,
hadn’twriteanyofthepatternIhad created down thisjourneyisanendlesshappy adventure and I’m
