. Soldi’s Paintings
Argentinian painter Raúl Soldi was
commissioned to paint the dome in
the 1960s. It fea tures a host of ethereal
dancers, musi cians, and opera singers.

The Staircase
The sweeping main
staircase is made from
white Carrara marble,
with Portuguese
marble banisters
crowned by a pair
of handcarved
lion heads.

Built in the French Renaissance style,
this structure has Corinthian and Ionic
capitals on the upper floors of the beautiful
main entrance.
