Heritage Site in 2007, Corfu Old Town
is a remarkable blend of architectural
styles. From the French-style Liston,
with its chic cafés and arcaded
terraces, to the Venetian buildings
around the Plateia Spianáda, and
from the imposing Palaio Frourio to
the Neo Frourio fort ress, the town has
some thing for everyone. Highlights
include the atmos pheric Church of
St Spyrídon and the oldest official
build ing in Greece, the Palace of St
