Manjit the magnificent
Entering stage right, dragging a double-decker bus,
is Indian-born Manjit Singh. In 2009, the magnificent
Manjit used his incredible power, and his superstrong
hair, to pull a bus weighing 9.5 tons (8.6 tonnes) for
more than 70 ft (21 m) through a London park.
Hair-raising!
Bed of nails
Never failing to impress, this fearless
performer rests on a bed of nails without
bleeding or writhing in pain. His body
weight is distributed over hundreds
of nails, so the downward pressure at any
one point is not enough to pierce his skin.
Meditating monk
If you were in this ice bath, draped in
freezing wet sheets, your body temperature
would plummet and you would eventually
die. But in his state of deep meditation,
the monk generates enough heat to stay
warm inside—and even to make the sheets
steam as his bath water evaporates.
Cool stuff!
