The best Italian wine I’ve ever tasted
was a Brunello di Montalcino. I
bought it directly from a producer
after a tasting in the Val d’Orcia
and it was a revelation. It was just
so thrilling to be drinking wine in

the place it had been made. And it’s
this, combined with the inspiring
scenery and magnificent food, that
makes this tour of Tuscan wineries
so uplifting.
