Jaidutt folded his hands, saying,

wisdom and guidance.”
Jaidutt eventually married and
continued to work hard and prosper.
But to remind himself of his humble
beginnings, he hung the golden rat
in front of his shop. He also made
certain that weary woodcutters were
always given chickpeas and cold water
as they returned home from the forest.
