                          Time and numbers
       Count in Italian from
       1 to 10. (pp.10–11)  On a day-to-day basis Italians use the 12-hour clock,
       Say “I have a reservation.”   sometimes adding di mattina (in the morning), di
       (pp.20–1)          pomeriggio (in the afternoon), di sera (in the evening),
       Say “The meeting is on   or di notte (at night (at night (  ). To say the time you say Sono le…,
       Wednesday.” (pp.28–9)  as in Sono le dieci (It’s ten o’clock), except for It’s one
                          o’clock, which is È l’una.
