How do you say “hot”
and “cold”? (pp.60–1) Adjectives are words used to describe things. In

“room,” “bed,” and it describes in the same gender and number: una

Words to remember (7 minutes)
Adjectives change depending on whether the thing described
is masculine el or feminine la. Generally, a final o changes
to a in the feminine, but if the adjective ends with e such
as grande it doesn’t change for the feminine. For the plural,
just add an s.
