L the all-star cast for Jon
Favreau’s forthcoming Star
Wars live-action series, The
Mandalorian, and it will be led by
former Narcos and Game of Thrones
actor Pedro Pascal.
When the news was made public
on December 12, Executive Producer
Jon Favreau told StarWars.com,
“We’re having a great time working
with this incredibly talented group
and excited for everyone to see what
we’re up to.”
Joining Pascal will be Gina
Carano (Deadpool), Emily Swallow
(Supernatural), Giancarlo Esposito
(Breaking Bad), Werner Herzog
(Grizzly Man), Nick Nolte (Affl iction),
Carl Weathers (Predator), and Omid
Abtahi (American Gods).
The much-anticipated series will
be exclusive to Disney+, The Walt
Disney Company’s direct-to-consumer
streaming service due to launch in the
U.S. in late 2019. The Mandalorian
is written and executive-produced by
Jon Favreau, with Dave Filoni (Star
Wars: The Clone Wars) directing the
first episode and serving as executive
producer alongside Kathleen Kennedy
and Colin Wilson.
