diamanté poem form. Seven lines
are used to link two nouns using
a simple formula; it’s a fantastic
way to encourage children to
begin to write poetry. Here’s my
poem linking ‘knit’ and ‘love’ via a
pair of socks:
knit
sticks string
throwing picking clicking
warm feet warm heart
growing stretching wrapping
safe so
love”

Use a loose cast-on; I recommend
the Old Norwegian method over
both needles held together
