Born in Arizona, Earp
held many different

bouncer, gambler
and boxing referee.
Travelling across the United
States from one ‘boom town’
to another, his first experience
as a lawman was as a deputy
city marshal in Kansas in around
1877. The Earp brothers were
part of a feud with the area’s
established cowboy outlaws,
which led to the famous Shoot-
out at the OK Corral and Wyatt’s
vendetta ride.
