Glacier Bay was designated a National Park in 1980 ALASKA
and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in

Bay is best known for its tidewater glaciers and deep
fjords, and is also a popular destination for wildlife
enthusiasts. Its forests and alpine areas are home to Gulf of Alaska
bears and mountain goats, while in the summer, its Locator Map
waters are alive with migrating hump back whales.
Although most visitors take an organ ized cruise, Glacier Bay National Park
kayaking is also an enjoyable option.
