. Athabaskan Village Site
This site consists of a large earth-floored log
cabin that served as a traditional Athabaskan
home. Here, Athabaskan docents explain the
use of the home’s various rooms and demonstrate
traditional tools and implements.
The Welcome House
Beyond the information desk and gift shop in the entrance
area is the circular Gathering Place, an arena for traditional
performances. Beyond the Crossroads foyer are the theater
and the Hall of Cultures, with exhibits and stands where
Native artisans create and sell their work. There is also a large
research library.
