Subaru Ascent When a color combination really stands out
After getting in and out of all nine SUVs, the Ascent’s interior really stood out thanks
to its tri-color combination. The light brown leather seats were completely different
from the rest, and everything inside the cabin was well labeled and easily reachable.
Toyota Highlander Smart cubbies and chic trays for all
Even in the mid-trim Highlander XLE, the materials and cabin layout are well
established. But we cannot get over how bad the third-row legroom is. Even for
short city drives, the third row is cramped and claustrophobic.
Volkswagen Atlas Exceptionally roomy and comfortable, but plasticky
The second row is very spacious and comfortable, and accessing the third
row is easy even when you don’t get captain’s chairs. But the amount of hard
plastic you’ll find in the second and third rows is too much.
