In amongst the hoard of would-be electric motorcycle
producers is Erik Buell – yep, that Buell, ex-Harley, Buell
and EBR Motorcycles.
He has spearheaded an effort that was announced
around two years ago, which was to include a range of
pedal-assisted bicycles and small, full-electric motorcycles.
At this stage demo versions of the bicycles, called Flluid
(two Ls), have been released, running a mid-mounted 500W
motor using a Gates belt drive to the rear wheel and a hefty

pricetag of near enough to $US4000 ($A5800) by the time
it’s delivered in the US.
And the motorcycle? Don’t hold your breath on that one.
