Pearl’s just turned two and I was
absolutely stuck for birthday party

Slower is better. I’m a
natural list maker and goal
setter, but last month I took a week
off and gave myself one goal - Go

activities, and I didn’t constantly try to
entertain the children. It was surprising
how happy they were making their own
little games up and just going for walks
with me and chatting about the
world around us. This year I’d 50%
like to do more of this and
less of the hustle.
