are based in hospitals; you will need to make an
appointment to see one. Many pharmacies stock
Western medicines as well as traditional Chinese
remedies and can treat you for most minor health
problems. It is a good idea to familiarize yourself
with a few basic phrases for use in an emergency
or in case you need to visit a pharmacy or doctor.
