DICTIONARY ENGLISH–CHINESE
Chinese nouns can normally be used for either the singular or
the plural. Verbs and adjectives are often used in combination
with additional characters that modify the meaning (see
page 4). Chinese word order can be different from English and
you will need to look at the phrases in the book to develop a
