           China has an excellent rail network, which links all the   A
           major cities and smaller towns, as well as an extensive
           bus system for long-distance travel. Most of the big   W
           cities have their own underground subway systems as
           well as taxis and public buses. Although you can rent
           a car in many cities, you can usually only drive within
           the city limits, and may have to hire a driver if you
           wish to travel farther afield around this vast country.
