London Aquatics Centre
Architect Zaha Hadid was inspired by
the movement and flow of water for
her sweeping, curved design for the
Aquatics Centre. Everyone can swim
in the pools here: a 50­m competition
pool, plus training and diving pools.

Stratford station

ArcelorMittal Orbit
Designed by artist Anish Kapoor, this
is one of the most recognizable
landmarks in the park. The twisting
steel tower is part sculpture, part
viewing platform and part
fairground attraction for adults and
kids: a hair­raising 178­m (580­ft)
slide was added in 2016.
