Joseph Stalin, Franklin D Roosevelt, Winston Churchill,
and the rolling cameras that made this an iconic image of
the ‘Big Three’. At the Tehran Conference the western
Allies agree to open a second front against Nazi
Germany and in support, Stalin pledges a major
offensive in the east – Operation Overlord in
France and Operation Bagration in the
occupied Soviet Union.
