stretched farther
than those of a
Tiger Moth
biplane.
What had
the longest
wings ever?
The largest flying creature was a pterosaur
called Quetzalcoatlus. It soared over its relatives,
the dinosaurs, 68 million years ago. The largest
had a wingspan of more than 33 ft (10 m).
