Victory! In the third inning of the championship game of the Little League World
Series, Hawaii’s Taylin Oana (12) scored the first of two runs on a wild pitch to
give his team a 3–0 lead over the squad from South Korea. That score would
hold up, as Ka’olu Holt threw a two-hit shutout. It was Hawaii’s third LLWS title.
