       On the death of the Spanish-born artist    . Self-Portrait

       The basement reconstructs Picasso’s
       studios using his prints, photographs
       and personal items. The next three levels
       follow his work chronologically, from
       1895 up to his death in 1973. Some

       and Pink periods, self-portraits and
