• Paint • Paintbrush
• White coffee filters
. Paint the coffee filter • Coffee stirrers or craft sticks
with the colors from the • Medium-sized Styrofoam balls
science experiment.
Let the filter dry.

. Paint both sides
of the coffee stirrer
green. Let dry.

. Place the Styrofoam ball in the center of the
coffee filter. Wrap the filter around the ball.
Push the coffee stirrer through the filter and into
the Styrofoam ball.

. Fold the filter
together and glue it.

. Place your
flowers in a vase
or small cup.

To create the flowers without doing the
science activity, use watercolors to paint
the coffee filters.
