Sometimes the best way to get ideas is to think or daydream.
This can often be hard because our minds are used to being busy.
Most people don’t spend much time staring out the window or
at a blank page. But sometimes our best ideas are just waiting
for our mind to settle down. Take some time to daydream in a
peaceful place where you won’t be distracted.

Another way to get inspiration is to think
like a detective. Asking questions can often
jump-start your imagination and lead to

Many artists and inventors—especially those who
create on a regular basis—are inspiration collectors.
When things come along that capture their attention,
they save those things in a special place just like you
would a stamp collection or souvenir snow globes.
When they hear a song lyric they like, they write it
down. If they see a beautiful sunset, they take a photo.
