several times to get a feel for the order
of construction. Repeated test-fitting is
the order of the day here, with so many
internal structural and detail parts to
fit in.
In this edition of the kit (B-2/RIII)
only the one markings option is offered,
an aircraft of 4.(Pz)/Sch.G2 (W.Nr0310)
based in Libya, February 1943 in the
desert camouflage of sand (RLM79)
with olive green (RLM71) mottling
on the top surfaces and light blue
(RLM65) undersurfaces. This is just
fine for me, as it is the scheme I would
have chosen anyway, but I was quite
surprised there was just the one option.
I am certain more will be offered when
subsequent variants are released. So,
as a basic introduction to the kit, here
are some photos of its parts. As you
can see there are a lot, and I will be
relishing the assembly and paint of
every single one! ●
