                Idun’s Golden Apples











                     n Asgard, home of the Norse gods, there was a beautiful tree that


                Igrew only golden apples. The goddess Idun tended the tree and


                she was the only person allowed to harvest the apples.




                That’s because the apples had magical powers – anyone who ate them never

                grew old, and so the gods and goddesses looked forever young and healthy.




                One day, Odin and Loki were travelling through the realms when they decided

                ni m]n oj [Xgj Xh\ liXmn Xh ir ip]l na] Ƅl]ҫ Eiq]p]lҮ hi gXnn]l aiq eih` na]s

                cooked the meat, it stayed raw.




                    ӂFn gomn Z] ]h[aXhn]\ҮӃ mXb\ L\bhҫ Iidb db[d]\ na] Ƅl] qbna ^lomnlXnbihҫ



                         Just then, a huge eagle landed by their camp. “Give me a share


                            and I will cook the meat for you.”



                                                  The gods were so hungry, they agreed.
