        Hell Hath No

        Fury as a Dark

        Lord Scorned

        The tragedy of Vader continues!

        Star Wars: Darth Vader #1
“Join me, and together, we can rule the galaxy
as father and son!” This was Darth Vader’s
shock o er to Luke Skywalker at the climax of

their blistering Cloud City duel in Star Wars:
The Empire Strikes Back (1980), but having just

sliced o the young rebel’s hand and revealed
his true parental lineage, the heavy-breathing
henchman of the Emperor should have guessed
he’d receive a less than positive response. Luke
chose certain death over servitude to the dark
side of the Force and flung himself into the

abyss below, but where did that leave Vader?
In this all-new series from Marvel Comics,
writer Greg Pak sets out to reveal what

e ect Luke’s refusal had on the psyche of the
Dark Lord of the Sith, in this epic, previously
untold story of vengeance, fear, and anger.
As he grapples with Luke’s rejection, Vader
embarks on a bloody mission of rage-fuelled
revenge against everything and everyone who
had a hand in hiding and corrupting his only
son. But even as he uncovers the secrets of
Luke’s origins, Vader must face shocking new
challenges from his own dark past.
Joining Pak on the creative team chronicling
this escapade of evil is artist Ra aele Ienco,
with cover art by InHyuk Lee. Darth Vader #1
is available in stores from February 5.
