BAEA Open day and Breed Seminar

The long awaited 2nd Boerboel open day and seminar weekend took place as
anticipated on 14th and 15th of April 2018. It was a satisfactory event attended by
many dog owners and their exceptionally quality dogs. The weather was generally
fair despite the rainfall trends that had been experienced prior to this event, which as
expected, kept many spectators away.

The open day was graced by Johan Swart, who
is a veteran in the Boerboel breed, he attended,
judged and shared his great experience with the
participants.

Johan Swart (pictured left) was born on 30th
October 1958 in South Africa, as the son of Linda
and Johan Swart (Boerboel breeders) and grandson
of Paul Stoltz (jnr.) and great grandson of Paul
Stoltz (snr.) (also, Boerboel breeders) and has 52
years breeding experience. He is the current owner
of Linjo Boerboels, a breeding kennel started by his
parents after the establishment of the first Breeders’
