The North Carolina Mountain State Fair is pleased to announce the 11th year of this show. This show is designed for people with
special needs. It is only natural that the fair should recognize the talent and desire for these entrants in the fi eld of agriculture. The I
North Carolina Mountain State Fair and Livestock Department are grateful for the support and efforts provided by the people involved V
to enable this competition to grow and expand.

GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS: T
1. Completed entry forms will include the exhibitor’s name, social security number, mailing address and telephone number.
2. Each exhibitor must be identifi ed as disabled according to PL 94-142 or 504. O
3. Exhibitor must be a resident of North Carolina. C
4. The Health Regulations of the Veterinary Division of the N.C. Department of Agriculture will be strictly enforced. Be sure to K
read these under “Rules & Regulations of the Livestock Division” before entering. Animals cannot be unloaded until checked
in. All sheep and goats must comply with USDA Scrapie Eradication Program Guidelines. (State request form can be found
behind Livestock Entry Form.) S
5. Each exhibitor will be paired with a helper to assist him/her in the correct way to show the animal. Animals will be provided H
for the exhibitor.
6. Exhibitor may leave upon conclusion of the show. O
