The Lost Leaf
When the pink leaf comes out from the soft window of a branch, it doesn't know that the limited scope of its exaltation is also
predetermined. We notice changes in its colour, shape, and lustre along with the change of weather.
Its own branches throw it on the ground where it transforms into pale and seems lifeless. The wind blows the leaf away in a
moment. Before the leaf can understand something, it finds itself flowing in the cool water.
Waves want to reconcile its sorrows and pain in itself, but its dilapidated existence has become weightless. Now it can fly, can flow
away but can't drown.
The edges too want to touch the leaf but are afraid of the waves. The waves also don't want to harm the leaves by their rude
conduct. Finally, waves transfer the leaf to the edges. Though the edges are emotional, yet they don't want to challenge the laws of
nature.
On the threshold of the shores, the leaf ultimately ensures its courage to be transformed into an incorporeal shape. These struggles
have left no shortcoming to make it colourless and unmistakable. Slowly, it gets converted into completely porous in shape. But in
this new form, the best shape has been engraved. A naturalistic artwork is created!
It’s a strange custom of the world! The leaf that was separated by its own branch has found shelter between the soft pages of the
book which has given it a new identification of co-ownership! Even today, that leaf has emerged from the brutal cycle of death and
has become something to adore, a silent, firm and an immense source of inspiration among people!
