AND WHEN YOUR LIPS TOUCH LOVE
MINE
Let love still; stay
And when your lips touch mine,
A stimulating gaiety spreads around. A heartfelt, yet concealed proximity
I see the sky in resplendent rainbow colors. Heavy laden with life herself
I am transported to those realms Some say she demands,
Where minarets sway
And church spires like stars twinkle. A certain rigid profile of love.
I get lost in dreams sweet. The few existing in this hope,
Arm in arm they do elope.
You touch the domain of my dainty dreams Cupids languish
Creating great moments of epiphany.
I look at the clumps of jasmine bushes, After her, like Romeo seeking Juliet.
The coral-pink roses, the vibrant blue-bells,
All kissing each other while the wind She claims souls fused in emotion.
Holds for a while, not willing
To disturb the passionate kissing. She calls walled waves of affection,
To stand to attention.
With your calloused hands, Then rallies cupid troops to join
You touch the strands of my hair
While i revel in the joys, In the fight for her survival
In the moment- to- moment feeling. Sending a message to the world
Our primeval instincts aroused, of her generous approval.
With love-dusted wings, we fly
And continue kissing amidst the clouds.
@Saurav Karki, Nepal
You look at me in the eyes
Drawing me closer and closer to you.
I feel like a pool replenished
By a joyously cascading
Waterfall of beauty rare.
I am swept off my feet,
My heart skips a few beats
And my womanhood infuses
In the charms of magic.
