The motive of the Tree plantation Event organised by Mahindra City and Hero Motocorp is to create
urban forests all over the cities.As an initiative,we students of various institutions and various clubs
gathered and helped them for this event.

The importance of trees was explained by the Cheif Guests. Students actively planted alot of saplings
and gave birth to a thousands of trees." Time spent amongst trees is never time wasted. "

The Youth Red Cross of Rajalakshmi Engineering College joined hands with Care & Welfare
organization. The program began with pledge and national anthem to serve lunch for the Municipal
workers, cultural events like dance, drama was performed by the girls. After the program concluded,
medals were awarded to all the workers as a token of appreciation. All the workers expressed their
thanks after an hearty lunch.

Orphanage Visit at AnnaikumKarangal, Nanganallur on 6/01/2019

The Youth Red Cross of Rajalakshmi Engineering College, conducted an orphanage visit to
AnnaikumKarangal orphanage to oraganisePongalCeleberations with the children. Various games
were organized like lemon in the spoon. Kids enjoyed blowing balloons. Chocolates, Notebooks and
pens were distributed to all the kids. Few students helped the caretakers to serve lunch. Our staff
coordinator Mr.D.Joel along with few students, counseled the children there about different career
opportunities. It was a lovely sight to see the kids have fun.

Disaster Management Training Program on 30/01/2019

Keeping this in mind, The Youth Red Cross Club of Rajalakshmi Engineering College conducted
