• Dr.Jayasree.R, Professor and Head, was honored with Outstanding Faculty Award for having
adopted best practices in education by AMIST University, Kedah , Malaysia on 23rd
September 2017.
• Dr.P.Saravanan, Asst.Professor, received a fund of Rs.35,43,980/- from Science and
Engineering Research Board (SERB), Govt. of India for the project titled "Stress resistance and
characterization of exopolysaccharides secreted by oral bacterial biofilm communities: A
target for developing novel anti-biofilms therapeutics”.

chosen as finalists for the DuPont Nutrischolars Awards 2018. They have been provided with

M.Millicent Mabel).
• Mrs. Carlin Geor Malar, AP has secured a gold medal and Dr.K.Sathya, AP (SG),
Dr.B.Vijayageetha, AP (SS), Dr.V.Gayathri, AP(SS), Dr.R.V.Hemavathy, AP (SS), Dr.T.Anitha ,AP
