               UNIT IV        TRANSIENT RESPONSE FOR DC AND AC CIRCUITS                                      12
               Transient response of RL, RC and RLC Circuits using Laplace transform for DC input and A.C.
               sinusoidal input.

               UNIT V         THREE PHASE CIRCUITS                                                                             12
               Three phase balanced / unbalanced voltage sources – analysis of three phase 3-wire and 4-wire
               circuits with star and delta connected loads, balanced & unbalanced - phasor diagram of voltages
               and currents – power and power factor measurements in three phase circuits.
                                                                                          TOTAL: 60 PERIODS
               OUTCOMES:
               On completion of this course students will be able to:
                   •    analyse  the DC circuits
                   •    realise the working of AC circuits
                   •    apply circuit theorems  for DC and AC circuits
                   •    analyse the transient response of DC and AC Circuits
                   •    realise the concepts of three phase AC circuits
