Midview Scholarship recipients with Howard Hanna
Jon Reichel, President of the Midview Scholarship Com-
mittee, presented several college scholarships in the amount of
$2,500 each to five Midview Seniors during their awards day
on May 26, 2022.
The students receiving a scholarship were: Madeline Scav-
nicky, Sara Thomas, Tyler DiFranco, Lydia Henely and Grace
Dolin. The scholarships are renewable for one year. Two schol-
arship recipients from 2021 were also renewed at $1,500 each.
The Midview Scolarship Committee would like to thank all

Teacher Innovation Award Please join us after the presentation for appetizers, refreshments and tours.
Midview Local Schools is proud to announce that Midview
East elementary teacher Kimberly Kauffman has been select-
ed as a Grand Prize Winner in The Henry Ford’s Innovation
Nation Teacher Innovative Awards. Her selection means Ms.
Kauffman will receive a 5-day “Innovation Immersion Experi-
ence” at The Henry Ford in Dearborn, Michigan, in July.
The Henry Ford’s Innovation Nation Teacher Innovator
Awards recognize teachers who inspire students to challenge
the rules and take risks, demonstrate how to be collaborative
and empathetic, and teach the value of learning by staying curi-
ous and learning from failure.
