Independence Weekend Poppy King correction
Grafton Village Pride Day
On Saturday, July 3, the Village of Grafton is hosting a
Hometown Independence Weekend Concert at Willow Park,
followed by a Fireworks Celebration. A pre-concert parade will
be held at 5:30 p.m. along Main Street from Railroad Street to
Willow Park. Line-up will be at 4:30 p.m. at the Police Station
on Chestnut Street. If you are interested in participating in the
parade or have any questions about the parade, please contact
Melissa Janowski at (440) 220-8885.
The concert spotlights the Doman Brothers Band and the
Lorain County Allstars. The concert is from 6:30-9:30 p.m. and
is sponsored through the generosity of Grafton Business Min-
nillo and Marshal Dentists.
The Grafton Village Fireman’s Association will be selling
adult beverages, burgers, hot dogs, snacks and soft drinks.
Grafton VFW #3341 will be hosting a 50/50 drawing, with pro-
ceeds being dedicated to the development and construction of a
new Veterans Memorial coming to Grafton in 2022/2023.
