Larta’s Ideas, energized prize

A prize for the presenter with the most innovative technology
and market-worthy innovation.

Larta Institute is proud to award for a second year, the Ideas, energized prize
in food and agriculture at the 2017 Ag Innovation Showcase. The prize bears
the name of the Larta Institute’s tag line and embodies Larta’s commitment to
energizing innovation. In addition to a cash prize of $5,000, the Ideas, energized
prize will provide the winner with a year of customized mentoring by the Larta
executive team.

The Ideas, energized prize is awarded to the early stage company presenter
with the most innovative technology and market-worthy innovation. Presenting
companies are judged by a panel of experienced entrepreneurs and investors
based on how well they compete in four categories: showmanship, novelty of
innovation, commercial potential, and the potential to disrupt their market. Larta’s Ideas, energized prize

Last year’s winner XTB Laboratories, a California-based, women-led business,
co-founded by Dr. Cristina Davis, developed an early disease detection and
prevention platform for high value crops based on unique odor profiles.
In Dr. Davis’ words, “The Ideas, energized prize shone a spotlight on us.”
