Season’ s record: This year the Frosh basketball, under the
Ralston 60 Papillion 62 direction of Mr. John Jorgenson, had a very
Ralston 60 Valley View 56 fine season. Something new was added to the
Ralston 50 Millard 45 basketball season this year with the dividing
Ralston 53 Arbor Heights 44 up of the teams to A and B squads. Each
Ralston 40 Westbrook 56 team had scheduled games with schools in
Ralston 57 Cathedral 52 the area. The A squad won 9 and lost 4
Ralston 77 Papillion 70 while the B squad won 7 and lost 3.
Ralston 51 Valley View 41 The team had practice every night and even
Ralston 42 Bishop Ryan 60 on weekends. Their hard work proved worth
Ralston 69 Arbor Heights 40 while because the group showed much im
Ralston 80 Millard 36 provement as the year progressed. The
teams, composed of twenty-four boys, show
Westside Invitational Tournament ed much potential for the future varsity
Ralston 52 Westbrook 63 teams. Edward Betzer and Dennis Martin
Ralston 49 Valley View 47 served as student managers for the victorious
teams.
